“The space we live in needs to harmonize with Nature and Culture. The right mixture of both fills it with great energy.”- Lv Yongzhong.
The design of Nan Villa is aimed at creating a home living style that suits the contemporary Chinese, and redefining in Chinese fashion the spaces we inhabit. Structural changes are made to reestablish a spatial order and significantly improve lighting, ventilation and views of the landscape. The interior is done up using in large amounts Phoebe Nees, or more specifically the “golden grain” Nan wood that the owner of the house favors, with the craftsmanship and caliber of making furniture par excellence.
On top of it all, there is a holistic approach to how the garden fits in with the architecture, and what furniture to choose that goes well with the interior design. All endeavors are made with one purpose in mind: to make home an energy field where the mind and body takes joy and relax.
